Catholic Parish Community on Forggensee.

The parishes of St. Mary and Florian Schwangau-Waltenhofen, St. Michael and St. Andrew Bayer Niederhofen Trauchgau form the "Parish Community on Forggensee". Our PG is part of the diocese of Augsburg , located in the Dean's feet . Politically, it involves the community Halblech , located on the territory Trauchgau, Bayerniederhofen and the village Schwangau . Many people, our region because of the famous royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau familiar. Even up to the Wies Church there are only a few kilometers.

Of course, but worth it at any time also to visit our churches and chapels in which conceals real gems. Invite you to visit, but even more to inner contemplation and prayer. The most famous among them is the pilgrimage church of St. Coloman in an open field at the foot of the mountain Tegel - a true gem and a popular wedding church .
